The Will of My Father

Before I knew what Christ was about

When things did not go my way

I used to get mad, pout

knocking my head against the wall

crying at times and wondering "Why?"

But as time went on, I found out, by and by

It was not about me

It was the will of my Father you see.

I found out my soul wasn't my own,

I was bought and paid for with the blood of Jesus

It was not about me,

I came to do the will of my Father you see.
